Hello everyone,
As you probably know, this week end will be a special date in the history of Rock & Roll as we will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the death of Eddie Cochran.
Eddie was one of the most important influence of the Rock & Roll generation and his songs and memory still remain with us today.
This is why the Dreamboats and Petticoats Cast will pay a special hommage to Eddie this Friday and Saturday at the Playhouse and at the Bristol Hippodrome, where Eddie gave his final performance before getting in that fateful cab. He was just 21. The cast will perform a few of Eddie’s songs at the end of each show this week end. If you love Rock & Roll, join us for this very special occasion.

Eddie Cochran was, and always will be, one of the greatest Rock & Roll stars of all time. Thank you Eddie. For the inspiration. You were Something Else.

The Eddie Cochran tribute last night was fantastic !

My wife, Marianne, and I saw the show yesterday afternoon at the Hippodrome, Bristol. It was just superb and the enthusiasm from start to finish was infectious. How you assembled such a cast, and with such great voices, is amazing. The Eddie Cochran tribute at the end was wonderful, ‘Three Steps to heaven’ couldn’t have left a dry eye in the house.
The two guitarists, leaping off the stage and the lights going off in mid-jump at the end was just out of this world. What an ending to a brilliant show! Congratuations to every single member of the cast. We saw the afternoon show, and could have easily stayed for the evening performance as well. (And this is the first time I’ve felt the need to post a comment like this about a show…)

the tribute introduced and sung by AJ was fantastic why not leave it in permanently!!
